How to connect Vene to ChatGPT or Claude
Add Vene as a custom connector in your AI app with the address below, then sign in with the phone number you use with Vene. The app can then read your connected records and portals, start the same pharmacy, appointment, and insurance tasks Vene does by text, and check on them. Disconnect it any time from Settings.

What your AI app can do with Vene
- Read your health records from the portals you connected to Vene: conditions, medications, allergies, results, visits, and coverage.
- List your portal connections, connect a new portal with a sign-in link you open yourself, or disconnect one.
- Start the tasks Vene does for you: check prescription status, transfer a prescription, check pharmacy stock, find, book, reschedule, or cancel appointments, and download your health records.
- Show every task with its status, its calls, and its result, answer a question a task asks, or cancel it.
It reaches only your own Vene account, and it uses the same records and tasks you see when you text Vene. Nothing is copied into the app beyond what it reads to answer you.
Connect Vene to Claude
1. Add a custom connector
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose to add a custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds it for the organization first.
2. Paste the Vene address
Name it Vene and paste https://api.venehealth.com/public/mcp as the remote MCP server URL.
3. Sign in to Vene
Choose Connect. Vene opens its sign-in page: enter your phone number, then the code Vene texts you. You go straight back to Claude.
Connect Vene to ChatGPT
1. Turn on developer mode
In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps and Connectors, then Advanced settings, and turn on developer mode. Your plan and workspace decide whether this is available.
2. Create the Vene connector
Create a new connector, name it Vene, paste https://api.venehealth.com/public/mcp, and choose OAuth.
3. Sign in to Vene
Enter your phone number on the Vene page, then the code Vene texts you. ChatGPT finishes connecting on its own.
Follow a task and hear back
- Ask your AI app to follow a task. It checks Vene for new calls, questions, and the result, and tells you as each one comes in, until the task ends.
- In ChatGPT, you can set up an automation on a Vene event, such as a task needing your answer, a task finishing, or a portal asking you to sign in again. ChatGPT runs it when the event happens.
- Claude does not act on these events yet. Ask it to follow the task instead.
- Vene still texts you when a task needs your answer, so you hear about it even if your AI app is closed.
Other AI apps
Any app that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth can connect the same way: give it https://api.venehealth.com/public/mcp and sign in with your phone number when it asks.
New to Vene, or done with the app
Signing in with a number Vene does not know creates your Vene account under the same terms as texting Vene. To disconnect an AI app, open Settings from a Vene link and choose Disconnect next to it under AI apps. Your app loses access at once.
